Introduction

UTD Codes is an unofficial, fan-made reference site that lists Universal Tower Defense redeem codes, how-to-redeem steps, and gameplay tips. We do not run user accounts or accept payments on this site. This Privacy Policy explains the limited information we handle when you browse the site or contact us.

Information We Collect

  1. Browsing and server logs

    • What we receive: IP address, browser and OS version, device type, pages visited, referrer, timestamps, and error logs generated by our hosting platform.
    • Why: To keep the site secure, detect abuse, understand traffic trends, and troubleshoot performance issues.
  2. Optional analytics events

    • What we receive: Page views, clicks, approximate region inferred from IP, device/browser type, and similar engagement metrics.
    • Why: To see which sections are useful and to plan updates to the code list.
    • Tools: Analytics is off by default. If we enable a provider in the future, we will update this page to name the tool and the data it collects. Data would be aggregated; we do not build individual profiles.
  3. Preference storage

    • What we store: Language or basic UI preferences saved in your browser (cookies or local storage) so the site remembers your choices.
    • Why: Convenience only; preferences stay on your device unless transmitted by your browser as part of a request.
  4. Contact emails

    • What we receive: If you email us, we receive your email address and message contents.
    • Why: To reply and provide support.
  5. What we do not collect

    • We do not collect Roblox account credentials, in‑game activity, payment details, or identity documents.

How We Use Information

  • Measure engagement to keep the code list accurate and current
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud or abuse

Data Storage and Security

We host the site on modern cloud infrastructure and apply access controls to data we handle. No method of Internet transmission or electronic storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

How We Share Information

  • Service providers: Hosting (e.g., Vercel) and any enabled analytics vendors listed above. These providers process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
  • Legal: To comply with applicable law, respond to valid legal process, or protect our rights and users.
  • We do not sell or rent personal data.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use first‑party cookies or local storage for preferences and, if enabled, analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser; the site should still work, but analytics may no longer record visits.

Data Retention

  • Server logs: Kept only as long as needed for security and operations, then aggregated or deleted.
  • Analytics: Retained according to each provider’s default policies (often a few months to 13 months).
  • Contact emails: Kept while we handle your request and as needed for recordkeeping.

Changes to This Policy

We will update this page when our practices change. The “created_at” date above shows the latest revision. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.

Your Choices and Rights

  • Disable cookies or use browser do‑not‑track settings (some analytics providers respect these signals).
  • Contact us to delete prior correspondence you sent us.
  • If you believe we unintentionally collected personal information from a child, please reach out so we can remove it.
