Universal Tower Defense Tier List
Universal Tower Defense tier list for the current meta—S/A/B rankings, roles, and relic pairings for Hybrid, Ground, Air/Hill, Support, and Farm units.

How this tier list is built
This Universal Tower Defense tier list groups units into five roles—Hybrid, Hill, Ground, Support, and Farm—and highlights the strongest picks in each category along with mode, trait, and relic context.
The table is a snapshot; the detailed ranking logic lives in the notes below. Each unit explains why it sits in its tier and where it performs best, with the analysis weighted toward Nightmare, Infinite, Challenges, and Virtual Realm rather than early progression.
Assumptions: entries presume strong trait rolls and full upgrades, and EVO forms when available. Non‑EVO versions generally land about a tier lower; for example, base Admiral remains a solid support but plays more like a Ground pick than a Hybrid.
Stat focus: attack speed (SPA) is usually the highest-impact boost for DPS because many relic bonuses trigger on the 5th/6th hit, so faster cycles mean more procs.
Traits and relics: recommended traits are listed with each unit, and the best relics are called out after the tier breakdowns.
